A few weeks after the collapse of the Fortress of Solitude, Tess Mercer takes over Luthor Corp and begins to inquire into Lex’s activities. Although his worst enemy vanished into thin air, Clark hasn’t a moment to call his own… he has to face two new foes: Doomsday and Tess Mercer. This season, the young Superman comes to spend less time in his hometown and more time in the big city of Metropolis where he measures noses with Plastique, the Legion of Super Heroes, Winslow Schott, Zatanna and others. As he begins his career at the Daily Planet, Clark explores his dual identity as both reporter and superhero. However, surprises don’t end here… not even by a long shot. Soon, it comes to light that he isn’t the only Kryptonian on Earth. Following Brainiac’s attack on Chloe, she developed special abilities, but chose to keep them secret… at least from Jimmy. As the chapter unfolds, she receives a marriage proposal, continues her work at the Isis Foundation and befriends with Davis Bloome, who has a secret of his own. Kara returns and goes in quest of Kandor, the lost city from Krypton while Lana sets herself to complete her revenge on Lex by stealing a power suit. Jimmy is only one step away from unearthing Clark’s true identity and Doomsday takes the wind out of everyone’ sails. Will Clark manage to overcome him? Remains to be seen…
