The end of the fifth season of “Smallville” left Clark trapped in the Phantom Zone, a Kryptonian penitentiary, without powers and surrounded by criminals while Lex guided by Zod’ spirit was prepared to rule the world. In the premiere of the sixth season, Clark manages to escape with Raya’s help, a Kryptonian friend. Using the House of El crystal Raya gave him, Clark defeats Zod, leaving behind a guilt stricken Lex. Spending his nights trying to fix the damage made by Zod, Clark thinks he is catching his first cold, but it turns out that he developed a new power, the super breath. Chloe and Clark discover that along with him escaped and others from the Phantom Zone, among them Raya. Lois falls in love with Oliver Queen, who eventually proves to be the “Green Arrow”, a thief who steals from the rich and gives to the poor. Meanwhile, Oliver develops a drug that heals any wound instantly. Lana realizes she’s pregnant and Lex pops the question. Finally, she accepts his proposal, but things will take an unexpected turn. Influenced by Lex, Lana becomes a very interesting character. This season, Clark has his first encounter with the Martian Manhunter and Chloe will discover something shocking.
