In this episode Clark’s secret identity is at stake. While attending an exposition sponsored by Luthor Corp in Metropolis, he uses his powers to save a homeless man from an out of control bus. A corrupt police detective witnesses the event and blackmails the Kent family. He threatens to reveal Clark’s secret unless he steals his files from the Internal Affairs. When Clark refuses, the detective appeals to a dirty trick and frames Jonathan a murder. He also forces Clark to steal Alexander the Great’s breastplate from the Luthor Corp exposition. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor is visited by his former lover Victoria Hardwick and Principal Kwan fires Chloe as the editor of the school paper, “The Torch”.
