Ian Randall, a Smallville student desperate to succeed, has the ability to duplicate himself and uses his power to simultaneously date Chloe and Lana. Clark tries to warn the girls about Ian’s ability, but he’s misunderstood. They accuse him of jealousy, but they’ll find out too late that he was right. After Nell leaves town, Lana moves to Chloe’s house. Meanwhile, Jonathan has an accident and breaks his leg. Lex goes to an anger management class and meets Dr. Helen Bryce, a very attractive local doctor, who is treating Jonathan.
