By touching a blooded symbol on a page of a spell book written in the 1600s, Lana resurrects the evil countess Margaret Isabel Tharow who possesses her body. With a spell she brings back other two witches who take control over Chloe and Lois. The trio came back to revenge and to find the Kryptonian crystals which can bring them unseen powers. Clark tries to stop the witches, but they draw the power from him and torture him to reveal the location of the crystals.
