After Martha contracts a lethal Kryptonian disease, Professor Fine convinces Clark that Jor El is responsible and the only way to save his mother is to destroy the Fortress of Solitude. Actually, Professor Fine is a Kryptonian artificial intelligence unit corrupted by General Zod. His malefic plan is to release Zod’s spirit from the Phantom Zone and kill Clark.
