Luthor Corp begins to analyze meteor rocks. As a result of direct exposure to the rocks, Earl Jenkins, former handyman at the Kent’s farm, ends up developing violent seizure. He accidentally kills a man with his powers. Clark and Lex team up to rescue Clark’s high school class after, desperate to find a cure for the disease that violently shakes all his body, Earl takes them hostage in Luthor Corp. He threatens to kill everyone unless he is shown the secret Level 3, which Lionel Luthor denies ever existed. Lionel is determined to keep the secret experiment under wraps… no matter what, but using his X-ray vision Clark finds the hidden Level 3.
