In an effort to teach his son to polish his Kryptonian intuition, Jor El gives Clark the ability to hear others’ thoughts. As he tries to find out who was behind an explosion at one of the Queen Industries textile factories, Clark also learns more about Lois’ feelings for him. Meanwhile, the Toyman returns and thirsts for revenge. At a company gala, he hides a bomb under the podium and threatens to kill everyone if Oliver doesn’t take the blame for Lex’s death. Finally, the Toyman is caught, but Tess seizes the opportunity and gives him John Corben’s kryptonite heart so he can tell her how it works.
