Clark joins the football team against his father’s wishes. He receives the starting quarterback position after his predecessor has a conflict with the new coach. Things get out of hand when Denny, the old quarterback, opens fire on Jason. Fortunately, Clark manages to save him on time. Struck by the behavior change, Clark and Lois investigate and soon find out that the cheerleaders are poisoning the teams’ water with kryptonite.
