After repeated exposure to meteor rock radiation, Dr. Steven Hamilton falls ill and terminates his contract with Lex Luthor. Leaving the mansion, in his way home, Dr. Hamilton causes a serious accident with a truck, which overturns in a cornfield near the spaceshift. Pete sees it while trying to save Ray, the truck’s driver, and turns to Clark for help him bring the object to his workshop. Dr. Hamilton steals the UFO and Pete suspects Clark. Against his parents’ wishes, Clark reveals his secret to his friend, but Pete can’t handle the truth. Meanwhile, Lana deals with Nell, while Lionel and Lex try to adjust to life together.
