Clark finally discovers that his life was threatened by Lionel unless Lana married Lex. So he decides to silence him once and for all. Lana makes up her mind and wants to leave Lex. Meanwhile, Martian Manhunter returns and he helps Clark stop Lex from creating his army of super soldiers. Martha is preparing to leave Smallville and go to Washington D.C. Clark reveals his secret to Lana in order to convince her to stay in town, but she is killed in a car bombing. Locking for revenge, Clark sets off to kill Lex, being convinced that he was involved in Lana’s accident. Lois goes to Reeves Dam to investigate more about Lex’s secret, but she is brutally stabbed by a security guard. When Chloe finds Lois dead, she finally reveals her secret power.
