Wes Keenan, a military man who seemingly died fighting in Afghanistan, is injected with alien DNA in order to become a “super soldier”. When a senator threatens to expose his secret labs, Lex sends Wes to kill him. Lois witnesses the murder and she is now in danger, as she has become Wes’ next target. Meanwhile, Martha is offered to replace Senator Burke in Washington D.C. She has doubts, because taking this job would mean to leave Smallville and Clark behind. Lana refuses to leave Lex, which makes Clark be suspicious about Lionel’s involvement in Lana and Lex’s relationship.
