After the battle that Clark has on top of the Luthor Corp building with Jonathan, he decides to go back to Smallville. He is found by Morgan Edge, who threatens to kill Martha and Jonathan if Clark doesn’t give him what he stole from Lionel Luthor’ safe. Meanwhile, Lex returns home and invites Helen for a second honeymoon, while trying to determine whether it was her or his father who tried to kill him by arranging his plane crash. Lana tries to tell Clark she loves him, but she is rejected, because Clark is afraid she might discover his origins. Chloe continues her investigations.
