Greg Arkin, an insect collector, lives alone with his mother Mrs. Arkin. After a hassle with her, the teenager puts the insects in his car and leaves home. On the road, Greg has an accident and is attacked by the insects. He suffers a metamorphosis, becoming a half man / half insect creature, kills his mother and kidnaps Lana so he can mate with her. As Clark sets off to rescue her, the confrontation leaves Greg killed and Whitney, Lana’s boyfriend, taking all the credit.
