Clark tries to keep shady after the “hot” new Biology teacher, Desiree Atkins, made his hormones go off the rails, developing his new ability: heat vision. Lex falls in love with Desiree and they decide to get married. After the wedding, where Clark is the best man, she tries to seduce him, but Clark is immune to her charms. There and then he realizes Desiree used kryptonite enhanced pheromones to convince Lex to marry her.
