Clark suspects his biological father of sending messages to Jonathan through the octagonal key and goes to the caves to confront him. Lionel surprises Clark there and makes connections that lead him straight to Dr. Swann. Meanwhile, FBI intercepts Lionel’s calls and finds out about the octagonal key. The agents search the Kent farm and Clark is sure that Dr. Swann betrayed him to Lionel.
