During a party at the Indian caves, Chloe’s lab partner, Travis, dies after performing a wild stunt. Lex notes that in the cave are alien parasites which feed on the adrenaline in their hosts. After Pete and Chloe are infected, they team up and to make Clark join their dangerous adventure. Pete puts a piece of red kryptonite in Clark’s pocket transforming him into the “dark Clark”. Our hero manages to escape its influence, but not before he turns Lana’s feelings into pieces.
