Clark wakes up in a totally different world where he is powerless and closed into an asylum. He is told he has been in the asylum for five years due to the fact he pretends he is an alien with superpowers. In this world, Martha is married to Lionel, Chloe is insane and Lana chose him over Lex. Lana wants to persuade Clark to accept a treatment, but another patient tells him that his doctor is actually a phantom. In order to go back to reality, he has to kill the doctor. Clark is facing now the most important decision of his life.
