When Lex figures out that his father is spying on him, he doesn’t take it well. He hires a team to bug his father’s office at Luthor Corp, but things get out of control when the crooks decide to take Lionel and Martha hostage and break into the Luthor Corp safe. When they open the vault, a shocking secret comes to the light. Lionel hides neither more nor less than green meteor ingots, the octagonal key to Clark’s spaceship and a confidential file on Clark. Meanwhile, Clark tries to find a way to save his mother without exposing his powers. To the end, the Kents manage to destroy the file and Martha decides to continue working with Lionel only to find out what he knows.
