Just when Clark and Lana are making progress with their relationship, Whitney returns home to make up for lost time. Things get complicated when Clark notes that Whitney is acting strange, he isn’t himself. It turns out that “the new Whitney” is actually Tina Greer, who faked her death and is back for Lana. She figures out that Lana has feelings for Clark and takes his form. Meanwhile, Lex’s relationship with Dr. Bryce is put through a test and Clark’s life is in danger, but the spaceship activates and saves him.
