Bob Rickman is an evil magnate, who uses his new kryptonite power of persuasion to manipulate anyone he touches to obey his commands, intends to build a very pollutant plant in Smallville. He sets his eyes on the Kent farm and with a wet finger makes Jonathan to sell. Meanwhile, the solitary Kyle Tippet, who was the former business partner of Rickman, helps Clark and Lex against the powerful and greedy industrialist.
