Chloe’s life is threatened by both Clark and Lana. After writing an article about the “Summerholt Neurological Institute”, Chloe is chased by Clark. He wants to run her down with his truck because he received an e-mail telling him to do so. Lana tries to kill her too, claiming she received en e-mail from the same address. Lex and Chloe discover that the mysterious e-mails come from Molly Griggs, a patient of Doctor Garner, who wants to stop her from publishing the article. Lex blackmails Dr. Garner to help him regain his memory in exchange of not exposing his unethical practices. Lana suspects Adam has something to hide.
