Clark is sent to Phantom Zone, a Kryptonian penitentiary, being powerless and surrounded by criminals. This fact turns Metropolis into a chaotic city. General Zod takes over Lex’s body and kidnaps Lana and, in the same time, plans to transform Earth into a planet similar to Krypton. After the plane crashes near the Fortress of Solitude, Martha finds out from Jor El how to kill Zod.
